YourChoice

Helping Guinness customers find their next home

The Guinness Partnership provides homes for nearly 160,000 people across England. We want every customer to live in a home that meets their needs, and we know these needs change over time.

YourChoice is our internal choice-based lettings system for current customers looking to transfer homes and current tenants looking to apply for a garage, parking bay or shed.

About YourChoice

Properties available for transfers will be advertised on YourChoice for customers to bid on.

We offer approximately 15-20% of our properties to our existing customers and the remaining are offered through the local authority via our nomination agreements.

A large percentage of our properties are advertised through the local council, so please do make sure you are also registered with them if you are able to do so.

We can only advertise properties we have available, so if there is nothing advertised in your area, please check back another day.

Am I eligible?

You need to have been a Guinness customer for more than 12 months to be eligible to bid. All bids received will be prioritised based on our banding system and the reason you need to move. For example, your property is:

  • too big
  • too small
  • not suited to your medical needs
  • unaffordable due to welfare reform;
  • or you need to move closer to work or family

If you need to move urgently due to threat to life or other exceptional circumstances, which you have not already told us about, please contact your customer liaison officer who may refer you to the applications team for an urgent move.

Please note we are not able to approve transfers for tenants with outstanding arrears. If you are looking to transfer, please make sure your rent account is up to date or give our Customer Accounts Team a call on 03031231890 option 3 to clear these.
